Why The Gravitas Project?
Why is it that you see some women soaring in their careers, while others only swim... and many sink without even putting their hand up?
Why is it that some have that "it" factor from the get go, but in others it does not quite develop despite all your efforts, programs, policies and public statements?
The person with gravitas is the one you want to be with and around. They know what to say and when to say it and rarely have any awkward moments. They fit in while standing out.
Those with gravitas deal with the weighty issues and have the ability to be seen as a person of authority who engages and influences others while holding their own in difficult or unprecedented situations.
Quite simply, those women that make it often have gravitas. You know it when you see it, notice when it is absent but more importantly how do you develop it?
Helping you reach your objectives
We know that organisations who have taken action and implemented programs across all of the key areas of diversity and inclusion are having the greatest success. Arguably the policies and programs that are defined and finite are the easiest to implement.
Leadership programs, on the other hand, require a level of expertise that needs to be sourced externally and brought into your organisation.
The Gravitas Project is a leadership development and mentoring program designed to shift the status quo and help you achieve your diversity objectives.
The questions is, which of your high potential women need gravitas?
The Gravitas Project in detail
- It is an immersive learning experience for women
- The project content is all about developing women to be confident in all situations from the boardroom to the bored room
- It is held over 12 months with four separate sessions each running for two days
- Each module is the opportunity to build on and explore how one builds gravitas
- In between participants practice and use the skills from the previous session and have mentoring sessions with the founder of the project
The creative force behind The Gravitas Project
There are many leadership programs for women, fashioned from multiple disciples... yet how many are led by an individual who is part of the vanguard of professional women who have forged successful executive and board careers over the past two decades?
As the creative force behind The Gravitas Project, Amanda MacLean has shared the same experiences as your high potential women and understands what it is like to walk in their shoes.
Amanda brings: C Suite experience, board and committee experience (often the only female at the table), experience at senior levels of large and multinational organisations, offshore multinational experience, M&A experience, accomplished key note speaker, professional mentor, working mother and business owner.
Amanda brings with her a panel of hand-picked expert facilitators and subject matter experts.
Realising your objective to have more women in leadership roles is about doing things differently and it doesn't have to be a hard fought battle to get there. Better still you do not need to do it alone. We know what works and how to make it happen smoothly.
